Creo
que soy porque te invento,
alquimia
de águila en el viento
desde
la arena y las penumbras,
y
tú en esa vigilia alientas
la
sombra con la que me alumbras
y
el murmurar con que me inventas.

the compass that is moving us
encodes
the terms of our travel,
and
when the word snow is erased
during
all the time of the landscape
at
last some love will be taking us,
taking
us up to the ferryboat,
and
in this hand without a message
your
light awake sign there will be.
By
inventing you I believe I am,
an
eagle alchemy through the wind
from
the shadow and also the sand,
and
through that vigil you are inspiring
the
shadow with which you enlighten me
and
the whisper with which you invent me.
